XL Catlin’s insurance operations today announced the appointment of Roman Mösli as Underwriting Manager Casualty, Switzerland, Insurance.
This appointment sees Mr. Mösli transfer from his previous role as Underwriting Manager Casualty for Austria & Central Eastern Europe (CEE) for XL Catlin‘s insurance operation based in Vienna. In this role he was responsible for the underwriting of industrial Casualty risks for national and international clients in Austria, as well as all Central Eastern European countries.
In his new role, Roman Mösli assumes responsibility for the Casualty insurance business in Switzerland with immediate effect. Based in Zurich, he reports into Mukadder Erdönmez, Head International Casualty, Continental Europe/Latin America/Middle East & Africa.
Mr. Mösli replaces Michael Rüsch who steps down from his role as Underwriting Manager Casualty Switzerland, Insurance, effective immediately, in order to fully focus on his role as Country Manager Switzerland, Insurance.

Mr. Mösli joined XL Catlin in 2004 and has held various underwriting roles within the International Casualty team. Before he moved to Vienna in 2014, he was a Senior Underwriter, Strategic Accounts, Germany based in Zurich.
