If a vehicle is being taken to any of the above countries we recommend that the driver(s) have their Great Britain or Northern Ireland driving licence with them. It is also advisable to take a copy of the relevant motor insurance certificate in case the authorities wish to check insurance validation at the border.
If the vehicle is likely to be driven in any country other than those listed, your policy cover may be affected and you should contact your broker. If you are unsure regarding driving abroad your broker will be able to offer you further advice.

What to do in the event of an accident abroad
Simply follow the same procedure for accidents in the UK. Please refer to your First Notification of Loss documentation issued with your policy.
