James is a Senior Underwriter for marine and offshore energy liability insurance and leads our global marine liability practice. He has specialized in the marine liability sphere for 15 years. He is the Class Underwriter for XL Group Syndicate 1209 at Lloyd’s of London and an elected member of the Joint Liability Committee of the Lloyd’s Market Association.
Before joining XL Group in 2007, James held a senior broking position in marine liability with Marsh. He began his broking career at Sedgwick.
