Anders is a Casualty Underwriting Manager for the Nordic region, serving clients domiciled in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland. He joined XL Group in 2001 as a Senior Casualty Underwriter. Based in London, he helped build a portfolio of large primary Nordic risk management accounts, serving clients who needed high service levels and flexible solutions. He later relocated to Copenhagen, making frequent trips to Stockholm, where he and the Nordic casualty team are now based full-time.\
Between 1993 and 2001, Anders held various senior positions at Aon, in both Sweden and Denmark. Most recently he was an international account executive and manager for Aon Denmark. Earlier, Anders worked for a couple of smaller Swedish brokers.
Anders holds a bachelor’s degree in science and economics Lund University, an associate’s degree in risk management from the Insurance Institute of America and a degree in property/casualty insurance from the Swedish Insurance College (IFU). He has taken several courses in risk financing and captive insurance, including from the Danish Insurance College.
